Sourdough Discard Crackers
A lot of people are put off of Sourdough because of the constant feeding/discarding that comes along with. I have to be honest, the act of feeding... -
Rainbow Mural for a kids bedroom | Morgan Atkinson fine art | Florence SC murals
I can’t tell you how excited I am by the murals I have on my calendar in the next few weeks (some in our own new home and some for others). These are probably one of my very favorite projects to do and I just love being trusted creatively with other peoples walls! It’s such an honor to take a space and make it show your personalities! -
1950’s ranch before/after and a video tour
As many of you may know we are selling the house that we’ve called home for the past 7 years. While we’re excited for the next chapter for our family we also feel sentimental about leaving the home our babies came home from the hospital in, started crawling in, and gave us shelter through some of the sweetest moments of our lifetime. -

One room that we hadn’t touched since we moved in here is the half bath off of our main bedroom and I’ve been dreaming up a mural for the main wall in that room since I first started brainstorming ideas for it! -

Valentines Day snuck up on us over here and I found myself scrambling to put together a fun valentine for Nora's classmates in preschool that still had that diy/handmade vibe I so love. Mercy + Motherhood || discipling littles || Florence sc artist
Webster’s tells me that mercy is: compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one's power to punish or harm. And when I frame every decision for my kids through this lens it makes certain that I am A) always putting them first and B) treating them with the same heart posture that God treats me. -

FREE SPOOKY PRINTABLE COLORING SHEETS | Florence SC fine artist
We love celebrating over here, and I love something that keeps the little ladies entertained while I am working so we spend a lot of time both drawing and coloring. I made some coloring sheets today to keep the girls entertained while I try to put the house back in order after a crazy week of launching my first collection and I thought other moms with little ones might enjoy them as well! Feel free to print them out and color away!
If you do end up using them I would LOVE it if you would tag @morganatkinsonfineart on IG in your feed or your stories so I can see your kiddos creations!

Practical tips for keeping your little ones busy while you work // Florence SC Visual Artist
Let me just start this post by saying that working at home with my kids around is no doubt the hardest thing I have ever done. It is taxing in a way that I never imagined. The constant pulling of my attention from a place of creativity and productivity to suddenly switching gears to manage little people’s emotions is the most intense rollercoaster ride I have ever been on and it WIPES ME OUT.
if from the outside this ever appears to look “easy” in any way to you I want to clarify right here once and for all that it is NEVER easy. Beautiful? Absolutely. Fun? No doubt. A disaster at times? FOR SURE. Super rewarding? 100%. But easy? No. Not ever. Not even one day has it ever been “easy”.
