Bathroom Update | Florence SC Interior Mural Artist
If you don’t already know, we are in the process of working really hard to get our first house ready to sell. We’ve lived here for over seven years and over it well, but we’re quickly growing out of our space and although we’re going to miss all of the character this home has, were also So excited to start our next chapter in a new home that better fits our needs!
One room that we hadn’t touched since we moved in here is the half bath off of our main bedroom and I’ve been dreaming up a mural for the main wall in that room since I first started brainstorming ideas for it! Since we spent our Sunday home with two sick kids instead of our usual church routine I talked Wes into entertaining the kids in the front of the house while I painted the walls Etched Glass by Behr. The next day I started mapping out my design for the floral pattern I planned to paint by hand, and then finally on TuesdayI was ready to paint the design! For the leaf/vine design I used some paint leftover from our front door project in the color “Midnight Blue” by Behr.
I am so incredibly happy with how this space turned out, and this is officially the largest painting I’ve ever done! I still have plans to add some gold foil in spots to really make this piece come to life, and we’re also planning to redo the flooring in this bathroom and our hall bath as well so I am sure Ill have another update for you soon. In the meantime here’s our before and “progress” shots of this sweet little half
